WHY AM I RUNNING?
Healthcare & Women’s Reproductive Health
Everyone has a right to secure, affordable, and high-quality healthcare. But as costs balloon due high administrative costs, pharmaceutical price inflation, and provider shortages, coverage is unavailable to many of those that need it most.
Securing Healthcare for All
Our state’s failure to expand Medicaid hurts the most vulnerable, and also those with healthcare who’ve seen their premiums rise over the past decade.
Abortion is healthcare. I’ll always stand against Republican attempts to reduce a woman’s bodily autonomy.
Healthcare is complex, but there are real, practical ways I’ll deliver on lowering the cost of healthcare, like:
- Working to expand Medicaid to provide coverage to an additional 430,000 Georgians without care.
- Regulatory reforms that cap the cost of in-demand prescription drugs like Insulin.
- Boost Georgia’s healthcare workforce by incentivizing RN, PA, and CNA programs.
